It’s a fairly well known fact that J.K. Rowling got her stations mixed up when writing the Harry Potter Books. Regardless, they still added a very cool location for the Platform 9 and 3/4 in the main area of Kings Cross. Two years ago when Sarah and I first visited the UK, the trolly was in place but it was very low key and, at the time we got there around 11pm, it was empty. So Naturally I thought of a funny comic involving the platform and figured we could pop in and take a few pictures.
When we arrived we were amazed to find that they had built a new Potter store next to the mock platform and there was a queue for the trolly that was over an hour. I took a quick selfie for twitter and moved on. We thought we would come back later in the evening after everything had closed to do the comic then.
10pm and the queue was twice the length it was before. Some quick re-edits of the comic and when you see above is the end result.
